Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Prospecting: Conduct in-depth market research and leverage your network to identify and target potential clients across key sectors (Automotive, Industrial Automation, Medical & Healthcare, etc.), driving new business opportunities.
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Stay up to date with market trends and customer needs, providing actionable insights to shape our business development strategies.
  • Client Outreach & Setting Appointments: Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other methods. Schedule meetings to discuss business collaboration opportunities, introduce our services to potential clients.
  • Qualifying & Nurturing Leads: Qualify your outbound leads, assess their needs, and move them through the sales funnel to get project requirements.
  • Request for Quotes (RFQs) & Information (RFIs): Engage with customers to gather RFQs and RFIs and ensure alignment with their requirements.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., sales/marketing, delivery) to tailor solutions that meet client specifications and deliver value.
  • Strategy Development: Participate in team meetings to contribute ideas and insights that enhance business development strategies and client engagement efforts.
  • Goal Setting and Target Achievement: Create clear and measurable goals and targets for yourself, and consistently work towards achieving success in your role.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Regularly monitor and report your business development activities and outcomes, providing consistent updates on progress (daily, weekly, or monthly) to your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • B.Tech degree in [relevant field, e.g., Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, etc.]
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, preferably in the Product Engineering or Software Services industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
