Key Responsibilities

Your tasks:

• Creation of specifications on the subject of automotive diagnostics

• Creation of diagnostic concepts considering current requirements (development, aftersales, production)

• Design of the communication between the individual control units and external test systems

• Definition of diagnostic exchange data according to the currently valid international standards in the field of diagnostics

• Participation in the integration of processes resulting from the requirements of ISO 14229

• Participation in the development of diagnostic requirements according to ISO 14229 in the respective project committees

• Incorporation of diagnostic requirements into supplier specifications

• Project responsibility for diagnostics

• Interface to the project engineers responsible for components or functions

Your profile:

• TU / FH computer science, telematics, mechatronics, electronics, vehicle technology or similar

• Professional experience in the above area

• Understanding of functional relationships in relation to vehicle diagnostics

• Good knowledge of vehicle technology and vehicle electronics

• Knowledge of diagnostics and current safety technologies

• Knowledge of ISO 14229

• Knowledge of AUTOSAR would be an advantage.

• Independent, systematic, and process-oriented way of working.

• Communicative and cooperative with other team members.
